You may be asking yourself why I’m giving Feast Of Love a rating of Burnt Popcorn, so I will take a little bit of time to explain.
I am terribly disappointed with this movie because after reading the Blockbuster synopsis, I thought it would be a good love story and also, I knew Morgan Freeman was one of the main actors. Here’s the blockbuster synopsis: “A meditation on love and its various incarnations; get within a community of friends in Oregon.”At the beginning, a woman leaves her husband for another woman. Right after this, a girl walks by a coffee shop and sees a guy. They “fall in love at first sight” and then go straight to bed. Following this, the first man meets another woman. It just gets worse and worse. After 40 mins, I shut it down. It seemed to be more of a porno than anything else, which was evident with the sex scenes about every 5 mins.Well, I’m not even going to continue on with this movie, it is HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED. I even looked at other reviews, and many of them were poor.
I guess the lesson learned is that you can’t always rely on the synopsis and the star actors in the movie. You must take a look at reviews from other people who’ve seen it before you and that’s why we’re here. Again, save your money!
