Harold and Kumar 2 Rating: Burnt Popcorn

Harold and Kumar continue their quest as they travel to Amsterdam to find Maria, the girl Harold lusts after. At the airport, Kumar meets his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa, who is about to get married. While on the plane to Amsterdam, Harold and Kumar are mistaken for terrorists and are sent to the detention center at Guantanamo Bay.

Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay is a smokeless bong as it starts off bad right from the beginning. The title is quite misleading as Harold and Kumar’s escape only takes them 10 minutes, while the rest of the film is about all the things that distract them on their quest to find Maria. The movie is plagued with horrible racist jokes that nobody will care for.

I find the movie swings too much to the extreme in every way. Instead of a topless party, one of the characters has a bottomless party. Warner Bros. thinks they can get away with showing male nudity just as Universal Pictures’ Forgetting Sarah Marshall did a few weeks before.

Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay is not one of John Cho nor Kal Penn’s best performance but rather one of their worst! The film is not worth watching, even for all the stoners out there! If you really want to see Harold and Kumar, watch the prequel, Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle.

Hehe… I enjoyed Harold and Kumar. And I didn’t waste any money on it.. I work at a movie theatre! One of the key perks, that’s for sure.

hey i loved this movie… funniest humor ever… of course the name doesn’t make the whole movie… at least it’s not a one liner that makes the title… I love it 5 thumbs up!!!

I agree with Scottie. The movie was great, wasn’t too poorly named, and had everyone laughing… Except for Maria.. I don’t know why, but I don’t like her.
