Each of this weekend’s wide releases feature a clash between two cultures: the Chinese culture and the animal kingdom meet up in Kung Fu Panda while Israeli and American cultures cross paths in You Don’t Mess With the Zohan.

MPAA Rating: R for language including sexual references and some drug use.
Synopsis: Doug and Richard are two mid-level supermarket employees fighting for a promotion to be the new manager at a new store location.

When Did You Last See Your Father?

Genres: Drama and Foreign
Running Time: 1 hr. 32 min.
MPAA Rating: PG-13 for sexual content, thematic material and brief strong language.
Synopsis: Blake Morrison deals with his father’s terminal illness and his eventual death. Blake remembers the conflicts he had with his father during his childhood and teen years while trying to deal with his current situation.

I am interested in seeing Kung Fu Panda and Don’t Mess With the Zohan. I will wait to read reviews about Mongol and The Promotion, to see if they are worthy to watch in theater.
