On behalf of Summit Entertainment, we are pleased to present some new clips from Twilight, in theaters December 12th.

Twilight

Twilight is an action-packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother remarries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn’t expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she’s ever met. Intelligent and witty, he sees straight into her soul. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Edward can run faster than a mountain lion, he can stop a moving car with his bare hands - and he hasn’t aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he’s immortal. But he doesn’t have fangs, and he doesn’t drink human blood; Edward and his family are unique among vampires in their lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for - a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward & Bella do when James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre), the Cullens’ mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her?

  1. Entertainment Weekly magazine has a great cover story about the movie and the books in this weeks issue. See http://connectwithyourteens.blogspot.com/2008/07/twilight-fans-must-see-article-in.html

    Thank you Jennifer!

Here is the direct link to the cover story and the other feature article from EW.com:

  3. I like when movies take a traditional stereotype of what something is to be, in the case vampires, and adds a unique twist to it. The test is whether or not it can be convincingly executed. I’m curious to see if Twilight is one that delivers or flops.

  4. The movie Twilight is a must see, I definitely love the originality of the writter in creating the vampires it just makes them more facinating than what they originally are(no one likes to see something that is a re-do) and also a beautifull and inspiring movie. It shoes us that sometimes love can be found in the most unexpected places and that the outside doesn’t matter(Bella isn’t exactly attractive but he chose for her inside). Modern day Romeo and Juliet. *Note*: But I was really disappointed with the actress they chose to embody Rosalie”, she isn’t pretty at all and Rosalie is described as the most beautifull person alive(you should have picked someone like Scarlett Johansson or other beautifull up and coming actresses, Niki Reed isn’t even pale).

umm one thing i think the person that places Rosalie is great because she is beautiful and yeah!
Stephanie Meyer did a great job on this book and she loves how the movie came out to be
i think Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson are the best actors/actressess for Bella and Edward
the only reason why Robert auditioned for the part was because she was playing bella
and he truly thinks she is beautiful and i think he wants to get in her pants if he hasn’t already
    hahaha XD

Well, for one thing, that sexual comment was totally inappropriate. #2, its probably true! lol! hahaha.I lurrve evry thing theyve done w the movee except i have one question. How can Laurent be a dark skinned vampire?! just wondrin.

  7. the movie stunk!

  8. Lenna

The movie was great, assuming you went in knowing that nothing could possibly live up to the book, and to be honest, would you really go see a movie that was exactly the same as the book? I know there are purists out there, but the movie is a way for new audiences to be exposed to this story. Though called ‘teenage angst’ by many critics, I believe that Twilight holds something deeper and raw in the mishaps and trials of first love. It may not be Oscar material, but it is touching, and personally I loved it.

I thought that the movie was good except the fact they rushed through the whole “falling in love” business. One minute they hate each other and the next their making out! But the ending was good. I also thought that Jasper and alice had NO lines! that kind of pissed me off

  23. Nana

Well, I’m a grandmother and me and my 11 year old granddaughter are both sooo in love with Edward. We’ve read the first two books, she’s seen the movie, and we just bought the DVD. We have Edward shirts, Edward pillowcases, Edward dreams and Edward fantasies. I think it’s powerful when one man can appeal to two girls that are 55 years apart in age. Only 118 year old teenage vampire could manage that - We are dazzled!

  24. arianna

i thought the book was very good, and when i saw the movie it was the same, but in a way i just enjoyed the book so much more. i also dont find edward attractive at all, i think jacob is hot though
