The beautiful Colorado Rockies. The tranquility of a small remote town. The world class film premieres. These are some of the unique and intriguing characteristics of the 35th Telluride Film Festival.
Starting Aug 29th, the village of Telluride will come alive with people from all over the world, including Hollywood celebrities and well-known people in the film industry. Screening over 25 films over three days, the 35th Telluride Film Festival will bring in over 5,000 attendees.
What films will be playing? It’s a secret! You will have to wait until you get into the mountains to see what’s playing or wait until the press release on August 29th at noon CST. But don’t worry! You’re in for a treat as most films showing at the festival have never been screened before. You’ll be the first ones to see! Yes, before the critics, your family and your movie buff friend that likes to show off by telling you the films they’ve see. Next time you see your friend, you’ll be able say “Hey…have you ever seen ______?” and they’ll become jealous of you.

How do I get there? The Telluride Film Festival takes place in a remote town in the mountains that is accessible by charter plane. Because of the limited flights into Telluride, you might want to fly to a neighboring town and drive the rest. You could also drive from Denver, but it would take about 6 to 8 hours to get there.
So, are you interested yet? Wondering how you can get a hand on some tickets to the festival? Well…the 35th Telluride Film Festival is sold out BUT you can still get into the various free events going on. Make sure to be there before the event reaches maximum capacity. If you want to get some tickets for next year’s festival, you’ll have to purchase them in March. Hurry up because they’ll go fast!

SizzlingPopcorn.com will keep you up-to-date with news from the festival in the Telluride Film Festival widget on the right hand side. We will also announce during the festival weekend which movies are screening.
The Telluride Film Festival is one event that you don’t want to miss! If you’re unable to go this year, it’s best to start planning soon to go next year as you won’t only be captured by the films screened but also by the beauty of the Colorado Rockies!
