This past weekend officially started a new box office season with a dud, Bangkok Dangerous! The Lionsgate/Maple Pictures film failed expectations as it topped the weekend box office with $7.8 million rather than the over $10 million opening it was expected to do.

  1. It’s definitely amazing that we hit an all time low this past weekend in theater revenues. Nobody really wanted to leave the house I guess. And Bangkok Dangerous definitely deserved what it got. It wasn’t a very good movie IMHO. ;)
