Dustin and Alexis have been going out for 5 weeks. Dustin feels like it’s the right time to step up their commitment to the next level, but to his surprise Alexis breaks up with him because she doesn’t believe the timing is right nor has she dated many guys. Dustin hires his roommate Tank to help him out. He’s paying Tank to be a complete asshole towards Alexis, hoping that she’ll come running back into his arms. When Alexis begins to fall in love with the jerk, how will that affect Dustin’s relationship with the two?
This hilarious comedy distributed by Maple Pictures stars Oscar-nominated Kate Hudson (Almost Famous), Dane Cook (Dan in Real Life), Jason Biggs (American Pie) and Oscar-nominated Alec Baldwin (The Cooler).

Dane Cook really carries this film on his shoulders with his witty sexual one-liners as he plays the role of the asshole Tank. He gives such a great performance that, within 30 seconds of seeing him on the screen, you know who he is: an asshole.
My Best Friend’s Girl is filled with sexual humour, mostly from Cook’s character, but it’s not the same jokes that are used and abused in so many other films. With the creativity of the script, written by Jordan Cahan, and perfectly timed execution of the original one-liners, My Best Friend’s Girl is a movie that will have you laughing throughout it all!

My Best Friend’s Girl is not a chick-flick. Both men and women will enjoy this romantic comedy. The movie is more geared to university students and young professionals, but people of all ages, over 18, will get a kick out of this one! Leaving the theatre after the advance screening, I heard so many people talking about how they would pay to go back and see the film again. It was still on people’s minds after the weekend as I heard some talking about My Best Friend’s Girl at the Nights In Rodanthe screening on Monday. When that happens, you know the audience loved it! Check out My Best Friend’s Girl, now playing in theatres.
