Paramount Pictures released today the new trailer for its upcoming sci-fi film, Star Trek. The film takes us back in time to James T. Kirk earlier days, when he meets Mr. Spock for the first time. It also chronicles the USS Enterprise’s first mission into outer space.

Starring Leonard Nimoy (Star Trek: The Motion Picture), Zachary Quinto (TV Hit Series Heroes), Anton Yelchin (Terminator Salvation), Zoe Saldana (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) and Chris Pine (Smokin’ Aces), Star Trek is set to release on May 8, 2009.
