The end of the year is fast approaching and that means it is time to vote for the first annual SizzlingPopcorn.com Movie Awards! Vote for your favourite actors and movies in over 15 categories, from Sizzling Hot Actor Of The Year to the 2009 Most Anticipated Movie! The ballot box will be open from Saturday November 22, 2008 and will close on Wednesday December 31, 2008 at 11:59pm (Atlantic Time). The award winners will be announce in early January 2009.

Readers from around the globe are welcome to cast their vote, but only residents of Canada and the continental United States who have reached the age of majority will be eligible to win a DVD copy of the Coen brothers’ BURN AFTER READING. A random drawing will take place after the ballot box is closed. No purchase is necessary to be eligible. The winner will be contact via e-mail and will have have 24 hours from the time the e-mail is sent to respond. By registering your vote and for the contest, the winner agrees to have their first initial, last name, province/state and country announced on the site. One entry per person. Any multiple entries will be void. Your personal information will not be sold to any 3rd party.

    Thank you Film-Book! There are many good foreign flicks out there and many I’ve never seen because of access. I did find out that LET THE RIGHT ONE IN has played in various film festivals but has only officially played in theatres in New York City. When I made the list I was looking for films that would be more accessible, even though they were limited releases.
